4990 Study Abroad Participation Rate
Source: Illinois Abroad & Global Exchange. Study Abroad Participation Rate: the number of undergraduate students studying abroad in for-credit programs managed by the campus or college divided by the number of individuals earning bachelor degrees this year, expressed as a percent.
Due to COVID-19 many Spring & Summer 2020 programs were canceled. AY 20-21 programs were suspended.

Chancellors Senior Survey (CSS) is an annual survey of all graduating seniors given in the last two months before graduation. See the Senior Survey web site for methodology, annual reports, and a dashboard for additional findings.
During the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 academic years, the University began a planning process for undergraduate education that included updating the Senior Survey. During those years, the National Survey for Student Engagement was administered.
Starting in 2014-2015, the University administered a First Destination survey called Illini Success (IS) to better understand career-related information about the next steps of bachelor's degree recipients. To find out about the methodology or to see full reports, see the Illini Sucess web site.
For each item, we provide the percent of respondents who replied affirmatively. These items are not available by department; College totals were added to the college administrative unit.

Did undergrd research
From CSS: The percent of respondents who participated in undergraduate research.
Did Community Service
From CSS: The percent of respondents who participated in volunteer or community service.
Devloped ways to give back to community
From CSS: The percent of respondents who indicated they developed ways to give back to their community.
Employed
From IS: The percent of respondents who had acquired work or military service as their primary status of the time of the survey.
Continuing Education
From IS: The percent of respondents who had been accepted at graduate, professional school, or to otherwise continue their education, and plan to attend.
Secured a first destination after graduation
From IS: The percent of students who report securing employment (work, military), are continuing their education, or are engaged in volunteer or service within 6 months of graduation.

Source: Public Engagement. Number of students who tracked at least one hour of service with the We CU program during the Academic Year.
